Anyone been to the newly opened Great Punjab in Baner yet? Any reviews? (Please note: there are two different restaurants on Baner Road. "The Great Punjab" is right next to Kapil Malhar, and is bigger. This is a branch of the Koregaon Park one. The other one "Great Punjab" is a little before Staples, and is smaller. food's pretty good....just like the KP one... bit expensive though for pune standards. not just for pune standards...

Food Quality is very bad ... It is not the KP Branch ... It has got a branch at Dhole patil.. Food doesn't taste like Punjabi . it has got a maharastrian taste to it. Piscean, I believe your review is for 'Great Punjab'.

I've tried both 'The Great Punjab' and 'Great Punjab' on Baner Road. I liked 'The Great Punjab'. Food was good, and there were a bunch of non-standard interesting dishes. I did not like 'Great Punjab' - food was mediocre and so was the service. Thanks Navin. Is the ambience/service/size similar to the one in KP?

@KunalB, I don't know, because I haven't been to the one in KP. However, the ambience and size of "The Great Punjab" are both great. It is very spacious. (By contrast, "Great Punjab" is small and cramped.)
