I tried calling both these options 100 and 020100 both do not work. Do we need to save local Pune Police station numbers on our Cell phones?

I have two references, both untried.
Would be useful if someone has confirmed these in anyway.

  1. 112 from any GSM handsets are redirected to the local emergency number.

    • Central Govt of India designate 108 as the national emergency contact number for Police, Medical and Fire emergencies.
    • Central Govt of India designate 104 as the Andhra pradesh state health advice emergency contact number for Medical emergencies.
(all this is also here, wonder who hosted it originally)
  2. 1090 Police in Mumbai

    • I don't know if this would work in Pune.
That link refers 100 as the number to be used in Delhi and Chennai.
And, you say 100 does not work in Pune.

these are the police control room numbers. tried and tested. a bit slow on the hearing. i doubt they'd understand english. but anyways, they knew about the adlabs drill when i called to cross check the rumor on the bomb being found there.
