Wondering if you know of any (and better - if you can list actual experiences regarding selection, pricing, etc.) with libraries in Pune that stock the new BluRay DVDs. (For those of you who don't know about BluRay, check this out: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-ray_Disc )

BluRay DVDs provide HD (High Definition) capability, in conjunction with a special BluRay DVD Player and a HDTV.

Thanks Amit

Spoke with DVD Express. They say they have a good collection of new English and Hindi Movies on Blu-Ray format (haven't seen it myself..). Pricing is same as that for regular DVDs.

Though the Blue-Ray DVD players are still quite expensive in India (available at major electronic retailers like Chroma, etc.)

NOTE - as the question says, I am specifically looking at Rentals (Libraries). Blu-Ray DVDs are now available for purchase in many stores in Pune (Crosswords, Landmark, etc.). More and more new movies are available on this format. Pricing is in the Rs 1000 to Rs 1500 range.
