Any suggestions for cricket grounds that I could rent for a day? For a cricket match, of course... In addition to suggesting the ground itself, if you could provide contact details of the appropriate authority, that would be most useful. By the way, I've already tried the PYC Hindu Gymkhana... As it happens, it's not available on the date that I need. |

PYC in Deccan is an excellent cricket ground but I believe it should be quite expensive as well. There are excellent cricket grounds in Poona Club and one of Tilak road too (in Hirabagh). If you are looking for a more casual setting, there is an NCL Ground in Pashan which we have used several times earlier as part of Veritas. Try that one. Should be simpler. You could try the Wadia College ground as well which I believe is regularly used for local matches. OR, you could get in touch with a Sports Company who could arrange it for you. |

Neeran, Did you check with the Deccan Gymkhana Club? Neighbouring PYC and even better cricket ground! You can check with the club office (located above Talim Pavilion... Nehru Stadium, near Swargate/Sarasbag (not 100% sure if its easily available for cricket these days!..given all the other sports/activities). |

There is a police ground at the beginning of Pashan Road. I had seen that being rented for some inter IT matches. Unfortunately i am not aware of the authorities to contact for the same. |
