Kayani's sponge cakes and Shrewsbury biscuits taste out of this world. But making the long trek to East Street and jostling with dozens of other hopefuls at their main outlet is very discouraging. Is there any other place you can buy them?

Deepa, can you edit the title of the question to reflect the fact that you're looking for places on the west side of town? Thanks.

Hi,

www.laxmiroad.in can deliver you the same directly from the shop, though we don't have tieup with them , we purchase the products and add some extra charges and deliver at door step. The charges are minimum.

I've heard from a colleague that Kayani products can be found in Aundh, at the corner grocery store opposite Seasons Apartment Hotel.

Here is a map link: http://bit.ly/7NHyNm [I couldn't find a way to mark the spot.. but it's the one that says 'Gaikwad Heights']

I think ShrewsBerry biscuits are available in the famous Hanuman Stores opposite Kobe Sizzlers. Not sure they also keep Kayani's cakes.

Aren't Shrewsberry biscuits available all over Pune now? And I believe they usually taste as good as those from Kayani.

You do get Kayani Cakes and biscuits almost all over pune. All the merchants usually buy them in a lot n sell it to you with an extra cost. I would suggest that one should buy the cakes and biscuits from Kayani bakery itself since you are assured of the freshness and taste. It is in camp.
