Any recommendations for a good doctor specializing in handling back pain problems?

I am also looking for same. Had been to sahyadri hospital, but need to consult some specialist.

Any good orthopedic specialist can be a good first option for back pain treatment (before seeing a spine specialist).

Two recommendations:

Dr. Raghav Barve (General Orthopedic/Joint Replacement) - OPD at Ruby Hall & Ratna Memorial Hospital. Clinic at Karve Road.

Dr. Rajesh Parasnis (Spine Specialist) - OPD at Ruby Hall. Clinic at JM Road.

Dr Rajiv Sharangpani (020-26134475). You may have to take an appointment. He has two clinics, one in Camp and other near Alka talkies.

Dr. Sharangpani is excellent advisor for non-surgical treatments. Patients with structural, postural and muscular problems can benefir immensely by such approach. Dr. Raghav Barve is a good surgeon and a very competent doctor.
