What would be a good GPRS plan to take in Pune, for good connectivity, and (sort of unlimited) usage. How has your experience been, and what are the price points ? My current service provider is asking for 1100/- for an unlimited plan, and I think it is on the higher side.

Have been reasonably happy with Airtel GPRS Plan for past 2 years in Pune. Unlimited plans are under Rs 400 (I think).

While I use IDEA phone service and sometimes the GPRS that comes with it,
I have never considered getting those USB Internet devices from any one yet
(and, I guess you are not referring to them either).
So, I'll stick to cell-phone services with GPRS over the USB/IR connection.

I'd be really interested in feedback from any takers of the BSNL GPRS services.
Their new unlimited GPRS plan says 249/-
but, have not checked the effective TCO when you start using it.

In fact, also check their 3G services being promoted these days.
(seems like the promotion is going to end by 15th July 2010).
They recently upgraded their landline-broadband plans too. Don't know why they don't start an RSS feed at their page :-)
