Need to rent a car for a few days but would like to drive it myself. Is there a rental company in pune that offers such an option?

Have no exp with them, but they have Self-drive option in their website.

No go. Called them up - they claimed all their cars are booked out for the next 6 weeks. The contact number is in Delhi - I doubt if they have any "real" service serving Pune.

Yes, they do service Pune. Carzonrent is the agency used by HERTZ in India. I know Avis has self-drive rentals in Bangalore. Never tried Pune.

I read in the newspaper a few days ago that Girikand travels has launched this service in Pune. Haven't tried them yet. http://www.girikand.com/car/booking/carsearchb2c.aspx

Yes... Pinewoods Cars ( Famous as selfdrive.in ) offers Self Driven cars in & Around Pune... They have a Live portal and the Car booking can be done online.
