Place/resorts near pune for romantic daytrip

Please suggest places like resorts/cottages I want to spend quality time with my wife for our wedding anniversary, Need something peaceful, not looking do any activities, just enjoy nature, lie around,eat,drink, sleep.

Thanks all, places suggested sounds good. Is lavasa good place for daytrip?

IMO Lavasa makes a better 2 days trip than one day. Hotel Ekaant is really good.

We enjoyed at Chowki Dhani. You can do things at your own pace and choose what you like. May be try making your own pottery or just watch people do it.

Fort Jadhavgadh.

It is a old small Maratha fort converted to a 5-star hotel. It is about an hour away from Pune in the middle of nowhere, and doesn't have too many rooms, so you'll very likely be all by yourself. Mostly, you can chill out. Maybe take a tour of the fort (which is quite small), check out the museum they have, and just walk around the grounds.

In addition to regular hotel rooms, they also have (luxurious) tent accomodation.

Hotel Prospect at Panchgani fits the bill. 100 year old property, very scenic and quiet. pricey at 3500 a night but provides value for money. You should also opt for the in-house meals to complete the experience and avoid the crowds.
