I've been reasonably happy with Bhandari Auto on JM Road (near the Sancheti end). They've been around for a while, and have lots of experience with all types of cars. Don't know how wide their selection of stereo systems is, though.

Wouldnt recommend Bhandari. Try Bafna on the same JM Road, or Poona Motors on E street. Rough rating of brands will be Sony < Pioneer < Kenwood < Blaupunkt < Alpine. Also worry about nice speakers - here avoid Sony and Pioneer for sure. JBL, Blau, Illusion Audio, Hertz are better brands, and easily available these days. Check some of the audio advice threads on team-bhp
