Looking for bicycle dealers with reasonable prices and good after sales services. Location does not matter much, though something in and around Baner/Aundh/Univ would be preferable. |

There is a good store on Karve Road (forgot the name..) opposite Swapna-Nagari Complex, near Garware College. Has been around for decades. Had been there recently - they have a good selection of new models. The Appa Balwant Stores (if I remember correctly...) are Kulkarni Cycle Mart and Kango Cycle Mart ... didn't know they are still around! Kango cycle mart is on Tilak Road, near the Abhinav College of architecture. (or close to the place where Tilak road intersects Bajirao road). Highly recommended

There is one cycle shop near Spicer college. The general feeling is that if you buy such items in places like Aundh/baner, you will always fine less variety and costlier. So better to go to city. There are many cycle shops in the Appa Balwant Chowk area, all in one lane. I recently bought one from there. There is also a "cycle mall" in Tilak road. It has 4 floors of cycle. But I didnt find any variety for kids cycle, but you could try there too. ~Sri |

Surendra cycles on Karve road is quite good. Keeps wide variety of brands from BSA, Raleigh, Schwinn, Trek and Merida. They are also now part of Track and Trail chain that keeps Bianchi and Cannondale among others. The Lifecycle mall on Tilak road is a huge space, and have trial ride area and all, which is good to find on crowded place like that. Their selection also is varied but have been on the 'set-up' mode ever since they started. Another place to check is Rider Owned Bikes at Koregaon Park. Just google for all the websites. HTH |

Near Phadke houd (this is when you go to pune station from Appa Balwant Chowk) there is a shop called singh cycle mart or singh motor cycles or something similar to that. Large variety, good pricing. But let me warn you that it can be extremely crowded Thanks Arati. I could finally make the purchase today. The name of the shop is Sardar Cycles. They have a good collection and after some negotiation, the prices are also better than anywhere else :)
