I have found http://www.taxiautofare.com/Pune-taxi-services to be a good place to get the latest info about cab and auto fares. (Not just Pune, but other cities as well)

Agree with Amit P. For all my cab needs so far, I've invariably used Wings Cab, and so far I've found them to be reliable. Though one thing you may want to note... The fare is Rs. 16/km point to point, and AC is included. But majority of the time, unless you ask for the AC to be switched on, the driver will let it remain off! The probable reason IMO is that since the cabs are individually owned and operated on a fixed monthly charges being paid to Wings, the drivers try and save where they can.
