I am moving to Pune from US. I wanted to buy a small car after moving to Pune, Would like to know what is a good small car with inbuilt technology wise. I am looking for good stereo system, good sound insulation, option for Ipod/Iphone plug in (Aux in jack is ok) etc.. I was thinking about Maruthi Swift, Does the latest model have these features? |

Most new cars in similar category (in you case, the small car segment) are quite comparable in the types of music systems/other gizmos they offer. And as Navin has said, you can always add / change these. For example, most Indian Cars (even the big expensive ones) don't provide integrated GPS navigation systems. But you can get portable devices that can be attached to the dashboard from MapMyIndia (I have one..) and SatNav. Regarding small cars, Hyundai i10 Automatic is a good option, I typically recommend for folks returning from the U.S. (Even if you can drive a stick-shift, the Automatic is very helpful in the start-stop-start-stop traffic of Pune/India! |

Looks like your main requirements are related to the car stereo. Why don't you simply put in a top-of-the-line car stereo in whatever car you buy. That will give you your aux in, your top class sound system, etc. |

And when you are moving from US, you can also bring in a good Garmin GPS device from there. Search team-bhp.com for Garmin in india and you will get some tips. I suggest you use this site for latest info on car / accessories etc.. Thank you very much for the info, the website has lot of information. Where would i get maps for India for Garmin?
