Looking for a decent Sofa/Settee combo (2 or 3+1+1) - the kind that can be unfolded lengthwise into a "bed"-kinds... Anywhere in Pune is okay, Kothrud preferable, but not necessary...

Anyone know people/shops like those?

Nirmitee, at Nal Stop, can usually custom make such things for you if you're able to sketch out or describe what you want. They usually do a good job but you need to do the following:

  1. Ask them to call you when the basic frame of the furniture is ready
  2. When that happens, go to their workshop check if what they are building is really what you wanted.
  3. If not, ask them to make the changes. They will do the adjustments (obviously without any extra charges).

I got most of my furniture made from them in this way.

Checked it out a while back - forgot to update here! They do have some good stuff - as does Happy House... :)

Thanx!

Happy House on Lal Bahadur Shastri Road (Navi Peth, Near Alka Theater). They have a good collection, and can customize the furniture per your requirements.
