What are good places to get breakfast in Pune? Something that opens up early (7ish / 8ish) and has a decent fare with reasonable prices. Someplace where you could catch up with friends / business associates and have a nice meeting without being disturbed. I am aware of places like Vaishali, Vohuman, Coffee House. Any other suggestions with pros and cons? Thanks! |

Regarding the condition in your question - 'have a nice meeting without being disturbed', would suggest GrubShup on Law College Road. I think they open by 9 o'clock and serve throughout the day with variety of food. It's quite accessible, nice place to catch up with friends/business associates over breakfast/lunch. |

Hotel Aryan restaurant opposite Vaishali restaurant on FC road. Quality of food is better than Vaishali and one does not have to stand in a queue to get a place to sit! |

You can just walk to JM Road, Narayan Peth, Sadashiv Peth, Bajirao Road, Deccan Corner & you will find the proper & different shops of Breakfast. |

This may be a lesser known place, but Potoaba is a good and cheaper option for breakfast. It serves parathas, upma, poha, misal, etc. It has branches at *Dyaneshwar Paduka Chowk, FC Road *Karishma Complex, Karve Road (Near Cad-B) *Sadashiv Peth, near Shailesh Rasvanti Gruha which is near Grahak Peth, off Tilak Road. *Sahajanand Society, near Gandhi Bhavan, Kothrud Niranjan at Dnyaneshwar Paduka Chowk, F.C road has also been a favourite. No idea about the timings though. |

Best breakfast place without a doubt is Vohuman's cafe for their cheese ommlettes and bun maska. Good tea served there too. Other places that come to mind are Germany Bakery. There used to be a place at KP that used to serve some awesome waffles and pancakes (Gourmet). Any ideas if it is still open ? |

A new venture http://www.breakfastwala.com/ by some university student, takes order online and delivers to your home. I have not tried it. Seems they serve West-pune as of now. Seems to have gone out of business...

Hotel Ramnath on Tilak Road (near Durvankur Dining Hall) is a small but good place for breakfast. Try misal (it's hot), vada, or sweet lassi (esp. in hot afternoons of April/May). |
