I am looking for the new USB 3.0 drives and would prefer 8GB or more in solid state (flash drive).
Has anyone seen reputable sales of these devices in Pune yet?
(they are supposed to be released in India).

I prefer Transcend or PNY over HP and Kingston (by past experiences).

I checked Staples,
they have a couple of non-flash solutions
(which is not exactly what I was looking for, but maybe someone is).

  1. They do not yet stock, but can order an upgrade-kit for Seagate GoFlex drives capable of USB 3.0
    • This might be a costly path; the 1TB drive is around 6-8K and the kit between 3-4K.
  2. They have Western Digital USB 3.0 1TB drives priced around the 10K mark.

I am very unsure of these prices, the links I give above show better pricing, would like to recheck other references.
The Seagate upgrade-kit at about INR 1500 sounds like a good idea.
