Faaso's is a chain of "fast food" restaurants in Pune (and now in Mumbai too). It has been around for many years, and has possibly undergone a change recently. An earlier ForPune question asking for feedback about Faaso's resulted in pretty negative reviews, but most of them were by people who ate at Faaso's 2/3 years ago, or more. However, judging from the recent popularity of Faaso's on Twitter/Facebook, it appears that people are much happier with Faaso's now. Also, owner, Jaydeep, has indicated on twitter and elsewhere that they have had a turnaround in the last couple of years, and the new popularity is a result of that. Hence, my question is this - if you've been to Faaso's recently (i.e. in 2011), what is your feedback? |

It's a little less oily, but the rolls are still just as uninteresting. And they tend to burn the rotis every so often! It's usually my very last resort for work lunches, only because they deliver real quick in the DP Road area. |

I tried it about a month ago, but did not come back very impressed with the food. An average joint. The curiosity generated by fb/twitter took me there, but not sure if I'd become a fan and always go there. The menu, presentation etc is good though. Just browsed through the responses in the previous avatar of this question, and I think the response from Subhojit (and Navin) in the previous question (http://forpune.com/questions/624/what-do-you-think-about-the-faasos-restaurants-there-are-about-7-8-of-them-i-th/641#641) still remains relevant. I would still agree with those, except for the oily part.

I've been there twice, and both times, I ended up ordering the Mughlai Paratha, which I hated. However, it would appear that wraps/rolls are their speciality - judging by the 'best Kathi Rolls in Pune' question, and also judging by the fact that their newer outlets in Bombay have only wraps and kababs, and the parathas have been dropped. Maybe I should give it another try for the wraps... |

Have ordered from faasos in Kalyani ngr quite a few times - they specialise in bungling up the order. veg/ non veg mix up; spicy/ non-spicy; etc. to their credit they almost always replace the order. but too much effort for a wrap which is good but not the best. |

Yes Faasos have improved their services over the past years and provide both Tweet to order as well as online ordering for all their branches in pune and mumbai Some of them Faasos Wanawadi Faasos Hingewadi and all other outlets across the city |

Thanks for the edits @nik!
