Pune has had (still has) many tag-lines: 'Pensioners Paradise', 'Maharashtra's Cultural Capital', 'Detroit of India', 'Oxford of East', etc. Wondering if you agree with/like any of these, or would like to suggest new ones? If you like/dis-like any of the above 4, please vote up/down. If you would like to suggest new ones, please add a new answer. And please, only one tag line per answer. Thanks.

Pune tithe kaay une? hech itaranche dukhne !! पुणे तिथे काय उणे ! हेच इतरांचे दुखणे.

Pune thrives on snob value so methinks the old adage is most appropriate.

With so much traffic, noise and pollution and so much crowd, it can hardly be called a Pensioner's Paradise.

Pune is where it feels like home, even for Mumbaikars ...

I am sure I will get some flames for this, but folks from Mumbai have actually said this to me. They don't see the urge to return to Mumbai as it seems alien to them. But, they'd gladly move to Pune which still seems like home to them
