Lohgad Fort. A relatively simple climb. Many folks take the Pune-Lonavala local train and step out at Malavali station. From here its a 1 - 1.5 hour journey (about 30 min to get near the base and 30-45 min to climb up). Alternatively, you can also drive down to the base (take the old Pune-Mumbai NH4 highway).

Visapur is the 'twin' fort of lohgad, halfway in the trek you find Y junction, one route goes to lohgad and the other to Visapur. Visapur trek a little tougher than Lohgad.. A must visit in monsoons.

Sinhagad Fort. The fort closest to Pune and the most easily accessible. Motorable road goes near the top (about 1 hour by car from Pune..depending on traffic). Can also take a bus/car-ride to the Donje village (about 45 min from Pune by car) near the base of the fort and climb up (roughly takes 1-1.5 hours).

[Disclaimer - I am not really a big treker myself, but have many friends who are active into treking.. hence you might consider by responses as '2nd hand feedback')]

Katraj - Sinhagad Trek. This is a pretty popular trek for the regular trekers, often done overnight on a full-moon night. It takes about 6-8 hours - starting at the top of Katraj Ghat (Pune-Bangalore highway) and then crossing multiple ranges, ends up at the Sinhagad fort.

Mulshi area. Just after the ghat climb starts, you come across multiple falls on the left. Best trek during rains as you can hike through the streams made by those waterfalls. You can go as far as you want. We usually turned around in 2 - 3 hrs.
