If you are willing to travel, then the winery stores of two of the top wineries in India are probably your best bet: Chantilli / Chateau Indage - Narayangaon, Pune (on NH 50) Sula Wines - Gangapur, Nashik |

Dorabjees Wine & Liquor Store (next to Dorabjees Grocery Store), near M.G. Road, Pune Camp has a decent collection (relative to what you get in other stores in Pune). +1 for this. That's the shop in Pune where I've found the best collection of wines so far. (Still not all that great, but better than the others.)

Dorabjees has probably the better selection of wines than others. In Aundh, GSP Wines (next to Ozone) is okay. Maharaja Wines in Model Colony (near Deep Bungalow Chowk) also has a decent collection. Sula has a dedicated counter in IndiaBulls store in Hermes Heritage Kalyani Nagar. There's also a store called Liquid Hut in each of the Pune Centrals (University Road and Bund Garden). |

Currently there is a wine tasting festival going on in Pune. It is going at Rohi Vila palace, Lane # 7 Koregaon park. They are featuring some of the good wines from Indian and Foreign wineries. It is only for 2 days 19th and 20th December. |

There is a new wine store in Aundh called The Providore which has a very large variety of international wines and champagnes and imported beers as well. Its also a gourmet food store... refiend shopping environment. |
