Most known I think: Malaka Spice - Koregaon Park

Aundh - Magnolia; and some items on the Polka Dots menu as well.

Polka Dots (and Deccan Rendezvous..both are from the same management) have some decent Thai Curries. Not THE BEST..but decent.

+1 for Malaka Spice. Though I am not particularly fond of Thai food, they have a good ambience and a decent fare.

Some pretty decent Thai curries are available in All Stir Fry (E*Square). Especially the Thai Red & Green curries. Though All Stir Fry isn't really a Thai Speciality Restaurant as such.

My favorite though was Sala Thai located in ABC Farms. But they closed down long back and then the destruction of that part of Pune started :).

I second that! All Stir Fry has pretty good Curries.

This one is really good. Very simple, spartan place. Reminds you of a small 'mom-and-pop' Thai restaurant in the U.S. - complete with the same decor, etc. Also, its actually run by a Thai owner and chef.

+1 for this. It is my favorite Thai food place in town.

Spice Island - The Oriental Restaurant at Hotel Le Meridien. Little pricey, like the 'Whispering Bamboo' but great, authentic food. Sitting ambience is much better than the 'Whispering Bamboo'. Here's a review I wrote an year back.. http://aparanjape.wordpress.com/2008/10/10/spice-island-restaurant-review/

  1. Malaka Spice: Undoubtedly, the best Thai I have ever had in Pune.
  2. Sun 'n' Sand: Came second
  3. Ban Thai, Kondhwa: a distant 3rd
  4. Magnolia, Aundh: was average

Rest of the places, mentioned above in other comments, haven't been there, so can't say!

(This is from Subhojit Roy's earlier answer - broke it up into a separate answer)

I also liked the Thai food in Whispering Bamboos in Taj Blue Diamond. That's a proper Thai Food restaurant.

Agreed. Probably the most authentic Thai restaurant in Pune. However, its a little pricey.

Silk Route, Koregaon Park has a Thai Food section. In general, I like Silk Route for the variety of oriental food that they.

Offbeat, opposite Karishma complex, Kothrud, has a nice Thai food section. In general, I love offbeat, for, well, offbeat food. Very interesting cuisine, and also very tasty.
