Firstly don't know why this question was voted down. Was is the generic context as opposed to the Pune theme? The question seems valid to me! Anyways, the point is, I know that Club Mahindra Holidays can be sold. Don't know if there is a specific marketplace for that. I guess you would need to get in touch with people you know that have such membership in order to buy/rent one from them. I think there is a fee associated with renting/buying as well - though its nominal and not very high. Why would you want to buy/rent? Most of the Club Mahindra resorts also allow outsiders if booked enough in advance. Why not try that route? I think booking as a guest at the Mahindra Resorts is way more expensive than getting in as a 'member' (or with a 'gifted' week). So, a member may 'Gift' you his entire week for, say 10k, but booking a week as a guest in one of the good Mahindra resorts would be way more expensive.

Why would a member "gift" an unrelated person a week in Mahindra Resorts unless you are related to the member? If you are unrelated it would be most likely sold to you I guess. And if that happens it may not be that cheap for you.

Mahindra does not permit sale of week. So, members charge for 'gifting'. I have seen the Mahindra's Goa resort sold for a week at Rs 12,000 in 2009. The same resort if booked as a non-member would be much more expensive for 1 week.

Will just repeat what was said earlier - you can book directly into most of these resorts like any other hotel, through agents and travel portals. |
