Suggestions needed for Good Teflon coating shops in Pashan/Aundh area |
|
"Jopasu". The guy comes home and does the teflon coating. Had teflon coating done for 2 cars so far. He comes back for a maintenance coat after a certain period of time Contact details here http://jopasu.com/contact.htm Thanks Arati After reviewing three venders AutoVega, Car Cupid and Jopasu. I finalised Jopasu. Their understanding of car coating technology was good, service was good. They have given a warranty card and 6 monthly maintenance etc. So far I am satisfied with the results... lets see it how it goes in coming days.

You should check out the AutoVega InstaShine product. Do check out how often it needs to be redone and what are the effective maintenance costs while comparing different products. Look at InstaShine notes as a reference on what to expect. I was surprised to see AutoVega pages discouraging teflon coating with environment hazard reasons when most other places talk about there being no teflon in the coat at all. If you need to get into details on detailing -- DetailingWiki page on Polymer Sealants. To summarize compare products on these three points

car-ax on bypass near balewadi stadium does a good job with 3M products. Quite customer friendly too. |

I am not sure if Teflon coating is effective at all. Does anyone know?
Abhijit, I found Teflon coating useful to the extent that it protects the surface from the dust particle scrathes. If something sharp sctratches, not very useful. Also, if you happen to wipe the car surface with wet cloth, then a teflon coated surface cleans more easily than a non-teflon coated surface. This helps a lot if you wash the car yourself! ;)
