Hi, Which bakery in Pune would you recommend for:

  1. Party cakes - cake taste & decoration. I need this to order a b'day party cake.
  2. Savoury items such as various breads/ rolls etc.
  3. Desserts such as mousse/ eclairs etc.

Preferred lolcation near KP/ Kalyani Ngr/ Camp, but even other suggestions will do.

Thanks, aparna.

+1 for Just Baked. Some of their cakes, mousses etc. are the best in Pune IMO. Of course they are on the expensive side of things. Once I had ordered a b'day cake from there - must say I haven't tasted a better b'day cake!

Copper chocs (deccan and sant nagar are the outlets i know of, there may be more) seems to be a decent one too. I tried their black forest and chocolate (eggless versions) and they were yumm

+1 Copper Chocs has pretty decent b'day cakes. In fact we liked these more than those from Baker's basket. Dunno about other bakery items though. Baker's Basket has some other bakery items that are good.

Bakers Basket (Multiple Locations in Pune). I believe they do have a location in Pune Camp. They also have a location on Dhole Patil Road.

They have a branch in Kalyani Nagar itself.

1) Kayani Bakery - East Street Camp. Pretty famous! 2) Santosh Bakery - Deccan (on Apte Road?) - excellent veg patties 3) German Bakery - Koregaon Park - nice breads

As far as I can remember, none of them are famous for cakes.

Mine is no doubt the German Bakery on North Main rd Koregaon Park. In kalyaninagar, try baker's basket, near Bishops Kalyani Nagar, its great. Also Creams and crust near Lankmark, Kalyani Nagar is awsome. The cakes here are so yumm that I have stopped placing orders to my earlier fav Monginies. They have a 3-d Noddy Cake which kids go crazy for. :)

Pune Bakery in Appa Balwant Chowk. I tried many bakeries of Pune, but none of those is better than Pune Bakery.

Forgot to mention the bakery/cake shop located as part of Season's Hotel, Aundh. That one has some good bakery items including cakes. Again, on the more expensive side.

And the name is I think - Cakes & Bakes.
