RTO issues 650 licences on Sunday, ToI, 16 June 2009

• More than 650 learning licences were issued collectively from both the main office near Sangam bridge and the Alandi road office [on the first day of its starting].
• The Pune RTO become the first RTO in the state to initiate such a service. The service is beneficial for people who are not been able to visit the RTO on week days.
• Only learning licences will be issued on Sundays. Kharatmal said the office expected to issue around 400 licences on Sunday. "However, the response was such that we were able to issue around 650 licenses. Considering the response, we are thinking to continue the service on Sundays between 10.30 am to 2 pm at both the offices. The decision over it will be declared soon."
• The official added that the services of issuing permanent licences at the Alandi office was started last month [as of June 2009].

I would like to know that at what time we have to pay the tax of per year for the tourist vehicles. After completion the year or before compliting it?
