Can someone suggest some good places for car battery checkup/replacement around Aundh? Any good garages around that area? I have heard of Autovega but not sure if they do that. |

Any local battery dealer will check your battery for you.
If you need a replacement, these people will take your older battery and reduce the price of the new one a bit. That is standard procedure. And for emergencies, you can call the Batmobile -- 020-65234340. |

Exide actually has a mobile van that goes around checking batteries and also giving a replacement service. I have used their service and found them good and responsive. They also give a small discount for the old battery that is being replaced. I think their service is called EXIDE Care. Try these nos: 25899095, 9890016564, 9850263889 |

Found Suyog Batteries to be very expensive....looks to be fleecing customers. The price they quoted was almost 700 more than what I found from some other places. Beware of them, even my neighbour's driver had warned me about their prices. I got my battery from Hundekari Automobiles (24267182). Though based in Swargate they came and installed the battery in Aundh. Though I got an amaron from them but they stock tata green and Exide as well. The prices quotd by them was almost 400-450 less than others since they offered a good price for the old battery. |
