Any good/bad experience with ICC Cable TV? They seem to have a Digital Set-top Box. Is this truly digital (i.e. is there HDMI or Component or RGB out on the box)? |

I have ICC digital set-top box at home. It has the three wire slots: Red, White & yellow (For video & Audio). For HD channel viewing, maybe a new set top box will be launched by them. Currently no HD channels are displayed. Digital network is definitely better than regular cable network in terms of services like: a) Displaying info about current program as well as next program. b) Electronic program guide. c) More channels in each category (movies, news, etc) |

ICC has recently launched HD channels viewing. For that you need a separate set top box. Currently, I don't have much information on what is the price for that. I had a talk with the ICC cable guy and this is what I got to know from him : 1. U need to have an LCD TV 2. That TV should have HD facility too 3. U need to return your old set top box and the deposit and ask for a new HD set top box. The deposit for the new HD set top box is same.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could kindly give us the additional channel LOVE BIG CBS. Its a great channel and I wouldn't even mind if I have to pay for that additional channel. Looking forward to your quick response. Thank you Hilu |

here's an update - I used ICC for over a year now and even got their HD box. The major downside was that they could never get any of the sports event broadcast on HD. so I didnt get the world cup, ipl, nor the current West Indies series. So overall - looks like they are being shunned by the big sports networks or they are not able to strike a deal with them. This has been a no-go for me. The only advantage I see is that if you get one settop box all the other rooms can get a analog feed which is of pretty good quality.
