I know almost all restaurants have a lunch buffet these days, but which one are the better ones? It would be good if they also provide good value for your money. |

I haven't ever been there on a Saturday afternoon, but apparently BBQ Nation has a very reasonably priced lunch on Saturday. Not sure this pricing holds for other days of the week. The last I remember, it was 275/- per person for lunch on Sat. One needs to confirm. Magnolia (Aundh) has also introduced a very reasonably priced lunch buffet sometime back. Have not been there off late either. magnolia is indeed a value for money lunch buffet. A decent variety is offered in both veg and non veg and certainly cheaper than the a la carte :)

I ate at some place called Durvankur during one of my visit to Pune and found it to be good. Somwhere near Alka talkies (near Deccan). One more place in deccan was a place at end of one of the lane offshooting Apte Road which was also pretty good. I think the place off Apte Road is Hotel Shreyas. These are all thali places though.

Clearly there are plenty of lunch buffet options in Pune. Some of my favourites 1) Zafraans at Panchsheel Tech Park @shastri nager 2) Post 91 at KP 3) Nawaabs 4) Soho's 5) Sigree's 6) Foodlink court at ICC 7) BBQ nation at Wakad and Yerawada Most of these places charge around 260-300 during weekdays, and are pretty good. |

Sigri at City Tower, Dhole Patil Road is a good option, considering the variety and quality of food. Good value for money! |

"Just jazz by the bay"/"not just jazz by the bay" E square offers a buffet of salads and sandwiches with soup and dessert in the afternoons. Weekend is Rs 375 or something. Not 100% value for money, I guess, but worth a visit,no doubt. Sandwiches are good and some desserts are excellent. Large variety of salads. |

Had a "Power Lunch" at Radisson Kharadi recently. IMO, value for money (225 + taxes). Although they don't serve any starters, they have pizza baked in front of you and noodles done live. The choice of main course, salads and desserts is also quite large. |

Again answering a old question for the benefit of anyone reading it later. Zafran, mainland china are pretty good. Zamu's (DP road) has a sunday buffet with Parsi food. Pretty good if you want to try or like parsi food. The one to avoid is Curve Sunday Buffet (ABC farms). They do serve unlimited drinks but they compromise big big way on food. For e.g. when I went there this Sunday there was no desserts!! On being asked they first got plain vanila ice cream. On insisting that this can't be the only thing in desserts in any buffet they just put chocolate sauce on the ice cream and again got it. I had to give up on them and go to Just bake for cakes.
