I have been there with my family. It was a fantastic experience, great way to reconnect to nature. The place well maintained clean and they serve great food. Good for family trips/group visits. It's equally good for 1 day picnic and overnight stays. You can check their facebook group for more photographs. One thing that one make sure that you understand the route correctly. Check this blog post for more In short I recommend. thanks. ur answer has been very helpful.

They have a nice website. I have driven by their location near Mulshi (Tamhini-Lonavala Rd)...the location looked pretty good. But haven't stayed there... Thanks for the link.. Definitely worth planning a day trip. Will post feedback. thanks. will be visiting soon too. will post the update.

After posting this query, I hv visited the ecogrid commune, and I totally recommend it. Andy, the person who runs this place, is very experienced and passionate in terms of envt. friendly structures and communities. You learn quite a few things there, and the food is very good,w hich even you can help cook, and is customised as oer your taste. You hv access to the lake which has crystal clear water. The best part is the kids hv a blast. We hv 3 yr ols with us, and they simply freaked out the whole day climbing up the machan, playing with the hens, painting bamboos, helping mk dessert etc. So, overall a grt day out of Pune. Next time, we plan to try the night camping stay. cheers, aparna. Great. Thanks for your comments.
