Hi,

Does anyone know of TATA authorised service center near aundh, wakad or anywhere in pune? Did look on maps.google.com but I think my keyword was not right.

My experience from Ankur's references has not been very great.
Over the early years of my Indica, I have consistently used the older Harris Bridge workshop (which is now closed, it was just after the bridge on NH-4), the Wakad 'huge' workshop and finally the Wakadewadi place. In each case, the experience has proved much less than expected. Even after clearly describing the problems, the car is returned with many things not looked at at all.

This is an observation I have since heard from some other people too.

If there is a different experience with the local TATA Service Centers please help updating here with your opinions. My present take is that a small garage near the Aundh bridge called Shetty's is much better than the ones I describe above.

For another alternative place close to Aundh.
There is a new showroom called Pratham on the outer highway a little south of the Wakad place.
This is not the same TATA dealer and I have been planning to check them out for a while now. Maybe someone here has already tried it...

@Ankur, Oh, that is sad, from what I have heard Pandit and BUB are similar in service quality. So, any more options? or which of the two would you pick?

B U Bhandari has a workshop in Wakad (on Mumbai-Bangalore bypass, opp Sayaji hotel, next to Maruti MyCar showroom).

They also have a small setup in Wakdewadi (Old Pune-Mumbai Highway, opp QuickHeal office).

BTW - I am assuming this whole discussion is about Tata Cars/Trucks and not some other Tata product :)

pandit automotive also have a workshop in wakad, i think. My experienc is that the service you get depends a lot on the engineer there to whom your car gets assigned. So when one engineer we knew was transferred from Pandit's tilak road facility to satara road facility, we used to take our car there (just a matter of trust!)
